Fredrick is a passionate, driven and eager 15 year old from England. He currently serves on the Youth Council of Learning Planet, a partnership between UNESCO and Learning Planet Institute.
Currently in 10th grade, he has hobbies ranging from playing sport and hanging out with friends to reading all about new articles in the news. Having been picked to play county level rugby, Fredrick loves the idea of teamwork and company around him as well as leading on and off the field.
At the moment, Fredrick is currently studying a wide variety of subjects from Computer Science and Latin as well as Physics and Spanish but Fred’s favorite subjects are Maths, Biology and Chemistry with aspirations of being in the Biochemistry/Medicine or even Economics/Business industry in the future having completed an online economic course.
In the future, leveraging on his global reach and influence as a core member of Learning Planet, Fredrick aims to create a platform targeting his peer group (age 12 to 24) on the future of health, well-being and sustainability. The mission of this platform would be to illustrate youth views on current and urgent health topics, and facilitate knowledge and opinion sharing amongst global peers. He believes that voices of youth, especially in the area of youth health, are not sufficiently amplified to influence the future of healthcare in policymaking, capital allocation and education. This platform will be launched at Learning Planet Festival 2023 and foster healthy intergenerational debate and discussion.
